GIBS annually arranges trips to London – called the London Investment Banking Week (LIBW). The LIBW is the main highlight of GIBS, and traditionally takes place every autumn in September.
London is a global financial hub, and home to some of the world’s premier investment banks. Fifteen selected students are given the opportunity to meet with investment banks at close range at their offices. This gives participants deep insights into the day-to-day activities of investment bankers, as well as an opportunity for networking and topic discussion about the recruitment process.

We are happy to inform you that we are now accepting applications for our London Investment Banking Week 2022!
Students from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology will get the opportunity to do case-studies, network with investment bankers, and learn more about the world of finance together with investment banks in London.
When: September 2022.
Who: Anyone interested in finance, from any field of study, and regardless of previous experiences.
The exact schedule for the week will be released after all participants have been confirmed. The hosting investment banks will review the CVs of the participants and make notes for future recruitment.
Furthermore, the participants of London Investment Banking Week are highly encouraged to apply for the internships and graduate schemes offered by the banks.
